Miss Bubble is NOT a "Movement".

I was doing what I do (chillin,
watching Snapped surfing
some sites, listening to Mood Muzik 4) and I bumped into this http://hoodnewsnetwork.net/interview-with-nickiminaj normally I would have kept it moving, just not interested. But after reading Irv Gotti’s borderline blasphemous comparison to Lauren Hill and Nicki’s defense of Irv, I figured maybe I was missing something. I know the ladies love the Queen of the Peewee Herman flo, and that the mainstream would have them believe she is the first /best/only female rapper on earth But she ain’t. Besides the part about Drake writing her shit, she just aint that good. Certainly not the best in the game. What she has is a hot marketing strategy. Like Mia X, remember Mama Drama? Three certified gold albums in the 90’s, little or no talent? For a while there you could not leave your house without bumping into some of her “ground breaking music”. Not even the people who bought that crap can be forced to listen to it now, shit bet you can’t even get them to admit they ever owned it. Much like milli vanilli before her. Those guys went 6 x platinum but nobody bought “girl you know it’s true”. Right. A good marketing campaign can sell just about anything. For a while. We buy all kinds of bullshit cause of marketing like the “Ab-roller" and Iraq. Well what do these things have to do with Nicki? Marketing.
I remember saying “hey Mia X and everybody she roll with is bullshit. “ and damn near getting punched in the mouth by a fan. I remember saying “wow these cats with the extensions and metal kneepads is bullshit.” and damn near having to kill a grown- ass man in spandex. And let’s not even start about Iraq. Suffice to say during the height of that marketing campaign dissent was met with jail time, but to hear it discussed now EVERYBODY was against the war. What I’m trying to say is for all the hoopla about Miss Nicki will pass. Nicki Bubble is not a movement. She’s a pop star. I see her and Lady Gaga now like I saw Vanilla Ice and MC Hammer (King Hammer, whatever) back in the day.
Hammer was the star; Vanilla was the clean-up man. He not only sold records to Hammers   fans, He sold records to the fans that would not be seen eating greens with Hammer. Miss Bubble is Miss Gaga’s clean-up man. Genius level marketing. But at some point it always falters and fails. And then it’s on to the next one.
